Following the postponement of the face to face Network meeting, which had been planned for June, the WHO Network Secretariat and the Network Meeting Organizing Committee have organized an online event to discuss the Network and plans for online Network events taking place later in 2020.

The WHO Chemical Risk Assessment Network is a voluntary collaborative initiative that seeks to improve chemical risk assessment globally by facilitating sustainable interaction between institutions on chemical risk assessment issues and activities. The activities of the Network promote the objectives of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM).

As of 1 June 2020, 88 institutions from 50 Member States participate in the WHO Chemical Risk Assessment Network.
